As the nation wakes from its continent-wide candy coma, we find a November morning that is slightly different than the October evening we left behind. For today, the new iPad Air is available. The 9.7-inch iPad Air is a powerful, if slimmer version of the full-size iPad (the Retina version of mini that was introduced alongside the iPad Air will be available later in November). While the hype surrounding the new iPad may not quite match-up with that surrounding the most recent iPhones, the Apple Stores will surely be bustling when they open at 8 a.m. local time. And of course, the new iPad has already been on sale via Apple's site since midnight.
