Google releases new Chrome desktop apps and Chrome App Launcher for the Mac

Earlier this year, Google announced a new generation of Chrome apps (http://chrome.blogspot.com/2013/09/a-new-breed-of-chrome-apps.html) that bring the best web applications to your desktop. They originally were available on Windows machines and Chromebooks. Starting today, they are available to Mac owners.
