Chart of the day: Google's buzz overtook Apple's in 2013

By Dow Jones' count, Google was America's most talked-about company of the year.

<p>FORTUNE -- The attached year-end infographic from Dow Jones shows Google (GOOG) edging out Apple (AAPL) as the most talked about U.S. company of 2013, with 123,769 media mentions to Apple's 120,451.</p>
<p>That shouldn't be a surprise; Google's been ahead of Apple three out of the past five.
