Apple confirmed to Vanity Fair on Friday afternoon that renowned industrial designer Marc Newson will be joining Apple’s design team under Senior Vice President of Design Jonathan Ive. Newson will continue to be based in the United Kingdom while serving as an Apple employee, making frequent trips to the company’s headquarters in Cupertino.
