Apple reportedly working on rewards program for mobile payments

According to Bank Innovation, which previously reported that Apple has negotiated lower credit card transaction fees for its mobile payments initiative, the Cupertino-based company is also working on a pilot program with merchants, including retailers, that could be related to a loyalty or rewards program for iOS users.
