The public beta began in July, with the second beta (http://www.imore.com/second-os-x-yosemite-public-beta-released) arriving late last month.</p> <!--break--> <p>Developers can download Developer Preview 8 from the Apple Developer Center (https://developer.apple.com). OS X Yosemite brings a flatter look more in line with iOS, along with features like Continuity (http://www.imore.com/continuity-iphone-ipad-mac), which lets your Mac, iPhone, and iPad work more closely together.
