Apple releases Safari 7.1 with DuckDuckGo support and Yahoo search encryption

Apple has released a new version of Safari for OS X Mavericks this afternoon, available now as a free update through the Mac App Store. Safari 7.1 features support for the DuckDuckGo search engine within the built-in search field, encryption for Yahoo searches and general improvements to privacy, compatibility and security.
