iPhone 6 is not currently capable of HD audio playback

Apple has long touted its passion for music, a point that it stressed when it acquired Beats Electronics earlier this year and brought music pioneers Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine on board. Yet, a new report confirms that — perhaps surprisingly — the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus do not currently have support for high-res or HD audio playback.
