iPhone 6 NFC support ‘confirmed’ in new images of logic board

The reports regarding near field communications (NFC) functionality in the iPhone 6 have certainly picked up steam, and with each new report, it looks even more likely. On August 28, for instance, WIRED reported that NFC will be a “benchmark” feature in the iPhone 6 for their new mobile payments initiative. Now, a new image of the 4.7-inch iPhone 6′s logic board seemingly confirms those previous reports.
