Mark Zuckerberg explains why Facebook forced users to download the standalone Messenger app

Back in July, Facebook killed the chat functionality in the main Facebook app, and started forcing users to use the standalone Facebook Messenger app. Facebook argued that the Messenger app is much better for chatting than the main app, but users aren’t reacting positively to this change.
