Oracle buys Phase Forward; Bolsters healthcare software
      

Oracle will acquire Phase Forward, a healthcare and life sciences software provider, for $685 million. Oracle, which is intensely focused on vertical-specific applications, said the deal will bolster its healthcare software line-up.
