OS X El Capitan to members of the public beta testing program. If all goes well, this should be the final beta version of El Capitan before it releases to the public at-large later this month. </p> <p>Appel quietly announced earlier today that OS X El Capitan will see a full public release
on September 30. New features in the latest version of Apple's desktop OS include a new system font, a smarter Spotlight search, tweaks to the Mail and Notes apps, and much more.</p> <p>Apple has begun notifying public beta testers with an email announcing the GM release, and you should be able to download it now by heading to the Mac App Store.</p> <p>
