3D Touch an app icon on the
iPhone 6s and
iPhone 6s Plus. When there are no quick actions for an app, it gives you a little "nope" vibration to let you know. But, not all quick actions load until you launch the app. So, if you're not seeing them in apps you think should have them, try launching the app and trying again!</p> <p>I've done a
deep dive explanation on 3D Touch before, but here's the key part:</p> <ul><li>Static quick actions are available immediately when you install an app.</li> <li>Dynamic quick actions are available only after you've launched an app.</li> </ul><p>That's because the app has to load data, at least once, to tell the system which options should be made available. For example, the Video app only shows a list of your recently viewed videos. In order to show that list, you have to launch the Videos app at least once so it can make that list and provide it back to the system for display.</p> <p>It's not exactly intuitive, but it's the way quick actions currently work.
