iOS 9 is only officially available in the U.S. at the moment. However, a new report says that people who have installed the app in the U.S. and then traveled to China to use it have found that it doesn't work in that country.</p> <!--break--> <p>
The New York Times reports Apple made the decision to disable the News app in China, according to their unnamed source:</p>
<p>Those in China who look at the top of the Apple News feed, which would normally display a list of selected articles based on a user's preferred media, instead see an error message: "Can't refresh right now. News isn't supported in your current region."</p>
<p>Apple has not officially commented on the report. If its true, it's likely Apple made this move to avoid dealing with Chinese government censors.</p> <p>Source:
