Fitbit rolls out weekly goals, automatic workout tracking, and moreFitbit has announced three new features that will be rolling out to make tracking exercises easier. One of these new capabilities, which lets you track and set weekly goals, is for all Fitbit owners, while the other two are aimed at the Fitbit Charge HR and Fitbit Surge. You can now set weekly exercise goals with Fitbit, to give you an extra nudge to stay active. Your goals will be based on the number of days per week you want to be active, and you'll be able to track your progress towards your goals with the Fitbit app. Both Fitbit's Charge HR and Surge bands will now be able to automatically track your workouts. You Fitbit will recognize when you've done an exercise and identify its type. SmartTrack only works with continuous movement, such as walking, running, and cycling. You can also personalize SmartTrack, specifying how long an activity needs to be to be captured, and what types of activity should be ignored.
