Apple has been granted a patent by the United States Patent & Trademark Office that describers an avatar creation and editing tool for iPhone and iPad. Dubbed “Avatar editing environment”, the patent describes a “virtual environment” where an iPhone or iPad user essentially use an app to create an digital avatar of themselves.
