Apple TV+ could soon come to South Korea

SK Telecom wants to be the exclusive cellular network with Apple TV+.

What you need to know


SK Telecom is looking to partner with Apple TV+ in South Korea.
Apple's streaming service has not become available in the country yet.


It looks like Apple TV+ might be making its way to South Korea.

As reported by Money Today,  SK Telecom is pursuing a partnership with Apple's streaming service in order to offer its customers more original content. The deal would benefit SK Telecom by offering exclusive content to customers and also benefit Apple if more customers subscribed to its streaming service.


  A significant portion of SK Telecom's discussion of content alliance with Apple TV Plus has progressed, and a contract is about to be signed.
 
  It is reported that SKT President Park Jung-ho and Apple CEO Tim Cook have a very close relationship starting with the domestic iPhone sales, and a consensus on content alliances has been formed.
