My Setup:

MSI X58m-UD5 (uses ALC889 sound)
i7-930
Galaxy 8400GS 512MB (I am running 1920x1080 through VGA. DVI should work too. I just have to buy a cable)
Patriot 6GB RAM

Here is a link to the zip file I have uploaded that tell you how to get it all working. I also included all files you need and a text file to tell you how to do it. I hope this first post is simple to understand and easy to follow. This is a result of weeks of trying several different things. I just wanted to share my knowledge with the other Hackinstallers.

Do this FIRST! It is imperative that you set up your bios correctly or OSX boot disc will just throw up a circle with a line through it. I don't know what that means but it ain't good.

(Credit for this goes to Kakewalk creator and Digital Dreamer for the scripts)
1.   Insert the thumb drive in the PC you wish to install to.
2.   Enter BIOS and go to Advanced Features
3.   Change the Hard Disk Boot Priority to your thumb drive as primary
(Number 1) and set the harddrive you're going to install to as secondary (Number 2)
eg. 1. USB-HDD0: SanDisk 16GB 2. SCSI-0: WD 500GB
4.   Go back (ESC), go to Integrated peripherals
5.   IMPORTANT: Set SATA RAID/AHCI Mode to AHCI
6.   Go back (ESC), go to Power Management
7.   Set the ACPI Suspend Type to S3(STR)
8.   Set HPET Mode to 64-bit mode 9.   Save and Exit, by pressing F10

Once that is squared away. Download this and it has all you need:

UPDATE: The dual screen works!!! Single VGA and Single DVI work. Great card for only 40 bucks!

Also when installing, install boot loader RC4. I don't think I clarified that in the text doc.

No problem. If anyone runs into anything and needs help I will do my best. Chances are I probably encountered it. Also, I wanted to confirm that DVI out and VGA out are working without a hitch at 1920x1080. I want to try dual screens with the board to see. Anyone have any experience using the galaxy 8400GS with VGA and DVI outs working as dual screens?

Nice tread, Thank you.
Could Install SL on MSI X58M GTX285 everything's working except Sleep.
I tried a few DSDT's but can do without.
Installer work's great.
Thank you very much again for sharing.
