VideoLAN Releases Security Update to VLC Media Player
VideoLAN has released version 1.1.9 of its popular VLC media player, a tool for playing back multiple audio and video formats. This update includes a fix for a potential security vulnerability. Users of this software should download a new version, or use the program’s built-in auto-updater.
