Apple Granted iPhone 3G, 3GS Design Patent
The design that's undeniably an iPhone 3G or 3GS has finally received a patent from the US Patent and Trademark Office.Jonathan Ive and Steve Jobs are credited for this design in the patent, which was submitted in April 2008 (just a few months before the iPhone 3G was released at WWDC).Among the references for the patent are the LG Prada, Tinnos PDA, and Meizu M8, which look very similar to the iPhone design.You can read the patent details on the USPTO website.via Engadget
