I have about $1,000 to spend on a laptop.

What is the most compatible (non-Apple) notebook I can find for that price?

Thanks for the link. Lots of info to go through.

Does the Hackintosh community currently have a favorite laptop? Is there one in particular that is getting more support than all the others, one that is more compatible than all the others?

I think you still do not know anything about the Toshiba laptop..You don't know anything about Toshiba laptop..This is one way where to find best collection of laptop at reasonable price....So follow it quickly...Best of luck!!!!!
