Apple, Samsung at odds over jury misconduct allegation (Ars Technica)


Apple and Samsung are disputing whether or not the jury foreman in the recently concluded patent trial used information not formally presented during the case. Samsung is requesting a new trial or judgment in its favor—Apple, on the other hand, says that the claims are without merit. Oh, please please please let us have a new trial. I think we’ve all felt a little empty since the last one wrapped up.


Windows 8 Bugs Hurt Microsoft, Intel Chief Said to Say (Bloomberg)


Intel CEO Paul Otellini told workers at the chip company that Microsoft is releasing Windows 8 before it’s ready, but will totally fix all the bugs after the OS ships. It’s almost hard to believe Microsoft would adopt this kind of strategy.
