Peter Tamte on NoteSuite and the changing landscape of software development
   




   

We often hear about young developers—boys and girls age 6 who’ve created the latest iOS sensation. But in the clamor for youthful innovation we sometimes forget about  those who’ve been in the business for the long haul—seasoned professionals who’ve seen the software landscape change over decades. I’m pleased to welcome just such a professional to this episode of the podcast—Peter Tamte, who’s seen Apple software development from the beleaguered days to the triumph of iOS.

Peter’s led a number of companies, including MacSoft Games, one of the preeminent Mac gaming companies of the the 1990s and early 2000s. His new home is Theory.io, which makes the iPad and Mac versions of a densely-featured notes/to-do/web clipping/annotation application.
