Apple, Samsung still trying to settle patent dispute, but without much success
While Apple and Samsung have tried to settle their patent disputes multiple times, the two companies haven’t been able to arrive at a deal that is acceptable to both parties. Samsung needs a number of UI and design related patents owned by Apple, and Apple needs some of Samsung’s standards related patents widely used in the telecom industry.
