Apple moves from 253 to 197 on ‘most profitable companies’ list
Apple has moved to number 197 on the “Fortune” list of most profitable companies. That’s up from 253rd place in 2009 and 337th place in 2008. Apple is listed as having revenues of $36.5 million—up 12.5% from 2008—and profits of $5.7 million—up 18% from 2008.
