Apple details possible uses of Liquidmetal in new patent filings
Apple signed an agreement with Liquidmetal Technologies for the firm’s “amorphous metal alloys,” often referred to as “metallic glass” back in 2010. According to patent applications filed by Apple last year, but made public today, the company wants to use Liquidmetal to create product parts using techniques like injection molding and 3D printing.
