NYT to Help Other Pubs Get iFriendly
The New York Times Co. is entering the software development business. On Monday, the company announced plans to release a technology solution that will allow publishers to serve content on various mobile devices. A version of the solution called Press Engine, which is compatible with Apple iPads and iPhones, will be available by the fourth quarter of the year.
