<div class="field field-name-body field-type-text-with-summary field-label-hidden"><div class="field-items"><div class="field-item even" property="content:encoded"><p><a href='http://www.imore.com/how-get-your-android-music-iphone' title="How to get your Android music onto iPhone"><img src='http://www.imore.com/sites/imore.com/files/styles/large_wm_blw/public/article_images/2014/05/google_play_music_m8_hero.JPG?itok=bpoqviMG' /></p> <p>More people than ever are switching to iPhone, or are seriously considering making the move, and one of the things you'll want to bring with you is any music or audio you've been listening to on your old Android phone. Apple has been providing the best audio frameworks in the industry for years, and as such you'll find tons of great apps that utilize it within the App Store — including Google's! — to make switching your music and audio to a new device incredibly easy. Here's what works best! <!--break--></p> <h2 class="slideshow">1. If your music is with Google</h2> <p><a href='http://www.imore.com/how-get-your-android-music-iphone' title="How to get your Android music onto iPhone"><img src='http://www.imore.com/sites/imore.com/files/styles/large/public/field/image/2015/01/google_play_music_screen.jpg?itok=KMfJ7ZNd' /></p> <p>If you've got your music from Google Play, whether you're using the standard service or All Access, all you have to do is download the Google Play Music app for iPhone and you're in business. Music. Business.</p> <ul><li>Google Play Music - <a href="https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/google-play-music/id691797987?mt=8&amp;at=10l3Vy&amp;ct=d_im" title="" rel="nofollow">Download now</li> </ul><h2>2. If your music is with Beats, Rdio, Spotify, Pandora, Songza, etc.</h2> <p><a href='http://www.imore.com/how-get-your-android-music-iphone' title="How to get your Android music onto iPhone"><img src='http://www.imore.com/sites/imore.com/files/styles/large/public/field/image/2015/01/streaming_music_folder_screen.jpg?itok=l8OH-Sn0' /></p> <p>If you've been streaming rather than buying or storing, you're in luck — all the same services are all available to you right on your iPhone. Just enter your account information and pick up right where you left off.</p> <ul><li>Beats - <a href="https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/beats-music/id781817640?mt=8&amp;at=10l3Vy&amp;ct=d_im" title="" rel="nofollow">Download now</li> <li>Spotify - <a href="https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/spotify/id324684580?at=10l3Vy&amp;ct=d_im" title="" rel="nofollow">Download now</li> <li>Rdio - <a href="https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/rdio/id335060889?at=10l3Vy&amp;ct=d_im" title="" rel="nofollow">Download now</li> <li>Songza - <a href="https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/songza/id453111583?at=10l3Vy&amp;ct=d_im" title="" rel="nofollow">Download now</li> <li>Pandora - <a href="https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/pandora-radio/id284035177?at=10l3Vy&amp;ct=d_im" title="" rel="nofollow">Download now</li> <li>Slacker - <a href="https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/slacker-radio/id298307011?at=10l3Vy&amp;ct=d_im" title="" rel="nofollow">Download now</li> </ul><h2>5. Or, for $25 a year, you can upload it to iTunes Match, potentially upgrade the quality, and stream it to any of your Apple devices, any time.</p> <ul><li>iTunes</li> <li>iTunes Match</li> </ul><h2>6. Porting your podcasts</h2> <p><a href='http://www.imore.com/how-get-your-android-music-iphone' title="How to get your Android music onto iPhone"><img src='http://www.imore.com/sites/imore.com/files/styles/large/public/field/image/2015/01/podcasts_android_folder_screen.jpg?itok=kfxsWX5Z' /></p> <p>Podcasts are typically just as easy to move over as music. If you were using Pocket Casts, Stitcher, or TuneIn, just get the iPhone version of the same app, log into your account, and you'll be good to go.</p> <ul><li>Pocket Casts - <a href="https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/pocket-casts/id414834813?mt=8&amp;at=10l3Vy&amp;ct=d_im" title="" rel="nofollow">Download now</li> <li>Stitcher - <a href="https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/stitcher-radio-for-podcasts/id288087905?mt=8&amp;at=10l3Vy&amp;ct=d_im" title="" rel="nofollow">Download now</li> <li>TuneIn - <a href="https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/tunein-radio-stream-free-music/id418987775?mt=8&amp;at=10l3Vy&amp;ct=d_im" title="" rel="nofollow">Download now</li> </ul><h2>7. Thanks to the Audible app for iPhone, you can sign in, download anything you like from your catalog, and keep on listening.</p> <ul><li>Audible - <a href="https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/audiobooks-from-audible/id379693831?mt=8&amp;at=10l3Vy&amp;ct=d_im" title="" rel="nofollow">Download now</li> </ul><h2>8. Apple has a deep commitment to those frameworks, and developers have been incredibly creative in bringing them to life.</p> <ul><li><a href="https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/garageband/id408709785?mt=8&amp;at=10l3Vy&amp;ct=d_im" title="" rel="nofollow">GarageBand</li> <li><a href="https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/djay-2/id669196929?mt=8&amp;at=10l3Vy&amp;ct=d_im" title="" rel="nofollow">djay 2</li> <li><a href="https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/capo-touch-slow-down-detect/id887497388?mt=8&amp;at=10l3Vy&amp;ct=d_im" title="" rel="nofollow">Capo Touch</li> <li><a href="https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/stringer-customize-your-shuffled/id916947262?mt=8&amp;at=10l3Vy&amp;ct=d_im" title="" rel="nofollow">Stringer</li> <li><a href="https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/magic-piano-by-smule/id421254504?mt=8&amp;at=10l3Vy&amp;ct=d_im" title="" rel="nofollow">Magic Piano</li> <li><a href="https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/overcast-podcast-player/id888422857?mt=8&amp;at=10l3Vy&amp;ct=d_im" title="" rel="nofollow">Overcast</li> </ul><h2>Your musical move?</h2> <p>Whether you've already switched to iPhone or you're still considering making the move from Android, let us know how you're listening to your music, podcasts, and audio books, and how you plan to keep listening to them in the future.
