Silicon Valley Business Journal, Apple's
Campus 2, which is currently undergoing construction, will have quite the treat for visitors. The plans detail a large, glass-walled visitor's center complete with a store, cafe, and an observation deck. From
Silicon Valley Business Journal:

The plans show a super-modern glass-walled structure topped by a carbon-fiber roof with extended eaves, punctuated by large skylights. On the ground floor: A 2,386-square-foot cafe and 10,114-square-foot store "which allows visitors to view and purchase the newest Apple products." Stairs and elevators take visitors to the roof level, about 23 feet up. There, they'll be able to behold the multi-billion-dollar campus, a kind of monument to the late co-founder Steve Jobs and Apple's tremendous money machine.

As the report notes, it was already known that Apple planned to include a visitor's center when it originally filed for approval of the massive complex. However, the recently uncovered documents, which were filed in April, offer the first hint at what apple has in store for visitors. Apple is planning to erect the visitor's center at 10700 N. Tantau with hours of 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the weekend.

Source:
