electric car, codenamed Project Titan. The company is said to be internally targeting a ship date at some point in 2019, deeming Titan a "committed project." The first version of Apple's car will also apparently forgo completely autonomous driving.</p> <!--break--> <p>From

<p>Apple has hired experts in driverless cars, but the people familiar with Apple's plans said the Cupertino, Calif., company doesn't currently plan to make its first electric vehicle fully autonomous. That capability is part of the product's long-term plans, the people familiar with the matter said.</p>
<p>Apple had previously been said to be targeting a 2020 date for the rollout of its electric vehicle. The company had a meeting recently with officials from California's Department of Motor Vehicles to discuss autonomous vehicle testing regulations.</p> <p>Source:
