Apple originally announced the developer kit program for the Apple TV back at its iPhone event in early September. The new Apple TV will launch at some point later this month, the first major revision of the set top box since 2010. It's powered by an A8 system-on-a-chip, and features a bright new interface, support for third party apps, and a brand new remote, which has both touch capabilities and a microphone for Siri.

The new Apple TV will ship in two configurations: 32GB of storage for $149, and 64GB for $199.

Source: 9to5Mac
