New iPad 3G pre-orders shipping by May 7 in U.S.
         

Apple's online store now claims that new pre-orders of the 3G versions of the iPad will ship by May 7th. Customers who have already pre-ordered one, however, are reporting that their order confirmations still say they will receive theirs by the end of April.
