Apple will be appealing against EU’s tax ruling decision this week arguing that EU regulators deliberately ignored opinions from tax experts and corporate law to slap the company with a $14.5 billion tax penalty. An investigation concluded by the European Commission revealed that Ireland granted Apple special tax benefits which allowed the company to pay significantly less taxes than any other business.
