<p>On Wednesday, Apple’s CEO Tim Cook gave the keynote speech at the 40th International Conference of Data Protection and Privacy Commissioners. In it he sounded the warning bell about how our personal data is being collected, processed, bought, and sold.</p><p>In <a href="

Your profile is a bunch of algorithms that serve up increasingly extreme content, pounding our harmless preferences into harm. We shouldn’t sugarcoat the consequences.
