Apple's next iPhone is shaping up to be the best iPhone the company has ever created. Whilst last year was a pretty big upgrade, don't expect quite the same level of leap in performance this year. By all accounts iPhone 13 will be a more conservative upgrade on the iPhone 12, but that doesn't mean there aren't some very exciting new features on the way.
Name: Unlucky for some
There has been some speculation about the name 'iPhone 13' given the connotations of 13 as an unlucky number in some contexts and cultures. However, other commentors have noted that Apple has never skipped the number 13 anywhere else in its history, (iOS 13 for example).
Design
The brand new design of the iPhone 12 with its square edges has been a big hit with plenty of customers, and there are no reports that Apple plans to deviate from this design in 2021.
