The latest versions will prepare your console for updates to the best Switch games and add new features or fix bugs you've had trouble with in the past. Updating your Nintendo Switch couldn't be easier, but here's a quick look at how to perform an update and what you'll find in the latest software for your Switch!

How to update your Nintendo Switch



In most cases, Nintendo will automatically let you know when there's an update to the Switch. You'll see a pop-up letting you know you need to update, and when you see this screen all you need to do is press Update to continue.

If you don't see an update pop-up, and you know an update is available, all you need to do is head to Settings on your Switch, scroll all the way down to the System tab at the bottom, and the first thing on that list will be System Update. You'll...
