Verizon's Off to the Races With Record-Thumping iPhone Sales
Verizon's got a tiger by the tail with its sale of iPhones. On Thursday night, the carrier stopped taking online pre-orders for its version of the iPhone 4, which launches on Feb. 10. Verizon would not release the number sold, but did say it was the most successful first day sales in the history of the company.
