Apple promotes 2 executives, convinces retiring SVP Bob Mansfield to stay on
Craig Federighi and Dan Riccio have been promoted to SVP of Mac Software Engineering and Hardware Engineering, respectively. In addition, Bob Mansfield, who planned to retire and had already named Riccio as his successor, suddenly reverses course and plans to stay at the company.
