Support for a mini port Cinema Display

I am looking for a motherboard (or a graphics card) that fully supports a mini port Cinema Display. I notice that several MBs support Thunderbolt which is supposed to be mini display port compatible but I am looking for someone to verify that they have been able to successfully use a Cinema Display with a Thunderbolt enabled MB (on Mountain Lion and Windows).
