Apple's Reno data center to serve iCloud users at light speed with fiber optic tech
When its $1 billion iCloud data center near Reno, Nev., comes online, Apple will serve high speed Internet services from a desert valley in the U.S. to users around the world, but first the tech giant needs to build a mega "information superhighway" with cutting edge data signaling technology ? and a lot of fiber optic cables.
