Apple may work with GlobalFoundaries on A-Series chip production at NY plant
Earlier this year, a rumor suggested Apple was looking to partner with chip manufacturer GlobalFoundaries on the A-series chips for Apple’s iOS devices. A new report from The Times Union claims this deal was more than a rumor, and the two companies will start chip production at a Fab 8 facility in Malta, NY.
