Is my OS X partition faulty?

I ran disk utility after many days and found that it gave me message on permissions differ? Can some one explain me what is this message all about?

Disk utility gives you this error when a permission of an application gets damaged/corrupted. I would advise you not to panic. Just run "Repair Disk permission" and everything should be fine. Hope this helps.
