Vine’s six-second videos just got a whole lot easier to make—for iOS users, anyway. The Twitter-owned company is
rolling out an update to let iPhone users create Vines using already-shot footage in their Camera Roll. (The update is coming to Android later, according to a
blog post by Vine engineer
Richard Plom.)</p><p>
Until now, you could only shoot Vine footage inside the Vine app, which was fine
at first. But when
Instagram launched its own video feature six months later, that app leap-frogged Vine’s meager feature set with the ability to reshoot individual sections of your video, and add filters.
