iOS 8 roll-out on Wednesday, Apple has revived the
two-factor authentication security system for
iCloud. Two-factor authentication will bring increased
security to iCloud by allowing users to tie in a verified SMS number or connected device, making it harder for an unauthorized user to hack an iCloud account even if they have your password or log-in credentials.

With two-factor authentication, Mail, Contacts, Calendar, Notes, Reminders, and iWork will be more secured, though your device's location information via the Find My iPhone system will still be accessible without the added security layer to make it easy for owners to track and find lost or stolen devices.

The return of two-factor authentication follows the
iCloud hacking scandal where CEO Tim Cook had promised tightened security to keep Apple users safe and ahead of the
iPhone 6 availability on Friday.

Will you be activating two-factor authentication to keep all your private data safe? To learn how to do so, visit our
