HTC drops RE camera app on the App Store ahead of launch

<div class="field field-name-body field-type-text-with-summary field-label-hidden"><div class="field-items"><div class="field-item even" property="content:encoded"><p><a href='http://www.imore.com/htc-drops-re-camera-app-google-play-ahead-launch' title="HTC drops RE camera app on the App Store ahead of launch"><img src='http://www.imore.com/sites/imore.com/files/styles/large_wm_brw/public/field/image/2014/11/re_camera_app_iphone_6_hero.jpg?itok=sLmwO1Wg' /></p> <p>HTC has dropped its RE camera app on the App Store today. The RE app will work with the RE camera, acting as both a viewfinder and content browser for the device. In addition, the app will also serve as a hub for easily uploading your favorite pictures and videos to a social network of your choice.</p> <!--break--> <p>Though the RE camera isn't yet available for purchase, you won't have to wait much longer, as the appearance of the app comes hot on the heels of an announcement earlier today that AT&amp;T will exclusively launch the device in the U.S. on November 7th.</p> <p>If you want to check out the app for yourself, you can download it from the App Store now. If you're curious about the RE camera, Phil Nickinson over at Android Central recently had some hands-on time with the device, so be sure to check that out here and in the video below:</p> <div class="video_iframe"><iframe src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/u4iz1gFFY5A?rel=0&amp;autoplay=0&amp;wmode=opaque&amp;controls=2&amp;autohide=1&amp;showinfo=0" width="627" height="353" class="video-filter video-youtube vf-u4iz1gffy5a" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen"></iframe></div> <ul><li>Free - <a href="https://itunes.apple.com/app/id923960562?mt=8https%3A%2F%2Fitunes.apple.com%2Fapp%2Fid923960562%3Fmt%3D8&amp;at=10l3Vy&amp;ct=d_im" title="" rel="nofollow">Download</li> </ul></div></div></div><div id="comment-wrapper-nid-28116"></div><img width='1' height='1' src='http://tipb.com.feedsportal.com/c/33998/f/616881/s/401db9f3/sc/15/mf.gif' border='0'/><br clear='all'/>
