Kickstarter project 'Glide' brings drag-and-drop development to iOS apps

While it doesn't look like Glide will allow you to create anything that requires a great deal of complexity—like a game, for instance—it does look to be a good solution for informational apps. Some of the applications that the Kickstarter page specifically points out are apps for magazines, hotel brochures, photographic stories, and museums. The folks behind Glide even point out that the service has already been used to create some award winning iOS apps such as Brian Cox's Wonders of the Universe and The Loop Magazine.</p> <p>If Glide has piqued your interest, you can head on over to Kickstarter to back the project now.
