How to disable videos, GIFs and Vines from autoplaying on Twitter on your iPhone or iPad

Automatic gearboxes, automatic lights, automatic fish feeders are good and convenient things. An autoplaying video on the web and on Twitter can be quite a nuisance. Twitter recently announced a more seamless way for videos, Vines, and GIFs to play while using the site or mobile app. If you think that autoplaying videos are distracting or worried it would consume your mobile data, Twitter also introduced a way to disable this new “feature”.
