The title is an endless runner that takes players back to the classic (and arguably more enjoyable) era of the blue hedgehog.</p> <!--break--> <p>As we're taking a portal back to the SEGA Mega Drive (Genesis) days, the Sonic Team have opted for a 2D experience featuring Sonic, Tails and Knuckles. Inspired by the classic trilogy of Sonic games released on the Mega Drive, players are tasked with racing through the environment, collecting both rings and gems while avoiding badniks.</p> <p>The title has been confirmed to be free, so do expect in-app purchases to be available at launch.
