I stopped by a local apple reseller in my area to by a cable i needed and found a brand new pair of Apple Pro speakers (never opened) that they let me have for ten bucks.  the Apple Pro has the proprietary connector so I guess that is why...still it is nice to score one for the good guys.  My g4 QuickSilver lives on!!!
