Verizon Wireless will do the same thing. The wireless carrier will officially reveal the new logo for the company on Thursday.</p> <!--break--> <p>According to
Ad Age:</p>
<p>Verizon said that design agency Pentagram created the new logo. Landor Associates crafted the old Verizon logo back in 2000, when Verizon Communications was formed after the merger of Bell Atlantic and GTE Corp."</p>
<p>Even though the change wasn't supposed to be revealed today, the new logo leaked onto the Internet via Twitter.
